Project Description
Todd Whitthorne
Health Expert
Todd Whitthorne would like to know how you feel? If the answer is anything other than outstanding, terrific, or phenomenal then something’s wrong. The truth is we were all beautifully designed and although today’s environment makes being healthy more challenging than ever there are very specific steps we can all take to maximize how we feel and perform.
Your health is your responsibility and by following Todd’s recommendations you’ll learn how embracing healthy habits can quickly help you gain energy, confidence and a true joy for life. His message is informational, motivational, entertaining and, most importantly, practical and doable.
Todd’s educational background is in kinesiology and exercise physiology. As the President of ACAP Health he leads a team that helps organizations measurably improve the health of their employee populations. Whether it’s Google, Southwest Airlines, or the State of Kansas, groups of all sizes rely on ACAP Health to slow, and reverse, the production of preventable disease.
Prior to joining ACAP in 2013, Todd spent 14 years as a senior executive at the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas. From 2000 to 2008 he served as host and executive producer of Healthy Living, a nationally syndicated radio program. He’s also an Emmy award-winning television host who anchors the annual broadcast of the Dallas Marathon.
Todd has run the Boston Marathon, rafted Class V rapids in Costa Rica, and reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. He and his wife Kathy have two grown children, Lauren and Andrew, along two of the cutest grandson’s you’ll ever meet, Henry and Hudson.
